Class Action Settlement for Improper Overtime Payments at Allegheny General Hospital

Our firm is pleased to announce that a class action settlement was reached with Allegheny General Hospital regarding the payment and calculation of overtime for certain employees. In particular, if you were an hourly employee belonging to IUOE Local 95 that made contributions to your Central Pension Fund, you may be entitled to receive settlement proceeds.

To be eligible, you must have worked as an hourly employee at Allegheny General Hospital and were a member of IUOE Local 95 between May 24, 2020 to January 31, 2025. If during that timeframe, you worked overtime and made contributions to your Central Pension Fund, you are a class member and are entitled to compensation.

Our firm invites you to review relevant documents relating to this settlement. In particular, the Class Action Member Preliminary Notice form will provide you with additional information. This document will inform you of your rights and obligations, if any. If you qualify as a member of this class, you will receive a settlement payment to be determined as detailed in the Notice form, and you do not need to take any actions at this time. If you wish to excluded yourself, opt out, attend the final hearing or object to the class settlement, you should review the Notice form and submit your response as soon as possible. As detailed in the Notice form, there are strict deadlines if you want to make an election other than receiving the amount listed in the Notice form.

Our firm provides a link to the Notice form, the Class Action Complaint, Settlement Agreement and Order of Court Preliminarily Approving the Settlement Agreement for your review. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact our offices to discuss.
